Arrange · Observe · Paint
There's something that happens when you really look at flowers. Not just arranging them — but studying the line, the space, the way they sit in silence.
The Glass Garden is a new workshop where we move from arranging to observing to painting. Each student creates their own ikebana-inspired still life, then translates it into a painted artwork on glass — guided by local artist Anni from Seven Teal Brushes.
And no, you don't need to be "artistic" to join. This is for anyone — even if you've never picked up a paintbrush before. It's not about perfection. It's about interpretation. About slowing down enough to actually see.
Build your own ikebana-inspired still life with seasonal blooms, fruit, and quiet space. We teach the line, the breath, the restraint.
Step back. Sit with what you've made. Notice what your eye is drawn to — the negative space, the gesture, the colour you didn't expect.
Translate the arrangement onto glass with oils — guided gently by Anni from Seven Teal Brushes. The painting is yours to take home.
